Our Mission

Thrive Together Community CIC is a UK-based social enterprise dedicated to strengthening communities and supporting young people through education, creativity, and community engagement.

Our work promotes inclusion, resilience, and wellbeing through creative initiatives, educational resources, and community-focused programmes that bring people together.

Every project we deliver is designed to empower individuals, strengthen communities, and create opportunities for learning, connection, and personal growth.

As a Community Interest Company, every penny we raise is reinvested into community projects that support young people, families, and local communities.

About the Founder

Kathy Grubb is the Founder and Director of Thrive Together Community CIC, an organisation created from lived experience and a passion for helping young people and communities feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Through her work, Kathy develops educational resources, books, and community initiatives that open conversations around resilience, wellbeing, kindness, and personal growth.

Her books — including Knives Take Lives, Zero Bullies Allowed, Being Me: Thriving with Neurodiversity, and Stronger Than Stigma: Understanding Mental Health — are used by schools and organisations to support young people in exploring important topics such as safety, inclusion, and emotional wellbeing.

Kathy also works with community organisations and charities to develop projects that strengthen local communities and encourage positive engagement across all ages.

She holds an Enhanced DBS and is a Designated Safeguarding Lead, with training in Family Counselling, Mental Health First Aid, and Project Management, ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing remain central to all Thrive activities.
